The Glacierbus in Fjærland takes the passengers that come with the boat, on a roundtrip to The Glaciermuseum, the glacier Bøyabreen (Supphellebreen) and back to the pier in Mundal/ Fjærland. For those who arrive with the morning boat, the bus goes to both glaciers. After returning to the pier in Mundal, there is plenty of time to visit the Booktown, before the boat returns

About The Norwegian Book Town in Fjærland The Norwegian Book Town in Fjærland started out very modestly in 1995, and now stocks about 2.5 miles of shelving, filled with books, in a variety of abandoned buildings – from ferry waiting rooms, stables and local banks to post office and grocery shop.

The church is from 1861, rebuilt in 1931. It is open to the public. In Mundal you will also find several bookshops, this being the eighth booktown in Europe and the first in Scandinavia since 1996.
